The Joseph B. Shultz house, built in Spring of 1853, was the first building erected in Medaryville, Indiana, after the town was platted out. With "additions and improvements" made by various people at various times during the years since its construction, it is an interesting piece of living history that is thought to be the oldest freestanding structure in Pulaski County.

This site is dedicated to the renovation and reconstruction efforts underway to help save this unique and interesting structure from the ravages of time. We hope to keep the site updated with information about the progress of our efforts.
